The referral code should be entered in the Sign Up page of G Cloud. Just tap the I have an eGift/ referral code option, and enter it there.

I have invited friends, when will I get the free space?
Once your friend signs up for G Cloud account, you both will earn the free space. If you have invited your friend via referral code, please make sure that they enter it in the Sign Up page by tapping the I have an eGift/referral code option.
