For troubleshooting purposes, Technical Support may ask for trace/debugging logs of the G Cloud Backup mobile application. Please note that these logs do not contain any passwords or personal information.
For Android Devices
- Make sure that your G Cloud Backup app is up-to-date.
- Open your G Cloud Backup app and replicate the issue that you are having, or wait for it to happen as it usually does.
- From the G Cloud Backup app, tap the Menu ≡ icon in the upper-left corner, then tap the Settings option.
- Tap the Send Logs option and proceed with emailing us the logs to support@gcloudbackup.com.
For iOS Devices
- Make sure that your G Cloud Backup app is up-to-date.
- Open your G Cloud Backup app.
- Tap the Menu ≡ icon in the upper-left corner → Settings → Enable Logging → Go back to the Home screen of the G Cloud Backup app.
- Replicate the issue that you are having, or wait for it to happen as it usually does.
- Tap the Menu ≡ icon in the upper-left corner → Settings → Send Logs → Send it to support@gcloudbackup.com.
