To permanently close a G Cloud Backup account, adhere to the steps provided below to delete the account along with all data stored within it.
Warning! Deleting the account is irreversible and cannot be undone.
Deleting the account does not automatically terminate any active subscriptions linked to it. It is the user’s responsibility to cancel the G Cloud subscription. Assistance with this process can be sought from the Sales team.
Method 1. Via the G Cloud Backup Mobile App
- Make sure your G Cloud Backup app is up to date.
- Open the G Cloud Backup app.
- Tap the menu icon ≡ in the upper-left corner and tap Settings.
- Tap the Delete Account option.
- In the opened screen, fill in the reason for deleting the account, confirm that you understand this action is permanent, and tap the Delete My Account button.
- If asked, confirm the login password for this G Cloud Backup account to proceed with the account deletion.
Once the account is deleted, an “Account Deletion Confirmation” email from G Cloud Backup <no-reply@gcloudbackup.com> will reach you.
Method 2. Via the G Cloud Backup Web Console
- Refer to the G Cloud Backup login webpage here.
- Log in to your G Cloud Backup account using the same method you signed up with. (Email, Google, Facebook or Apple ID)
Note: If you are not sure what your login password is, reset it from here.
- If you are using the Mobile Version of the G Cloud Backup website, switch to the Desktop Version.

- Click on your name/email in the upper right corner and select Account Settings.

- Click on the Email section and then on Delete Account.

- From the page that will appear, fill in the reason for deleting the account and click on Delete.
