Method 1: Using G Cloud app

  1. Open G Cloud app.
  2. Tap the Restore button placed on the Home screen.

  3. Tap on the device you wish to view its backed up data.
  4. Proceed to select the store location and the category you want to see what has been backed up under it.

Method 2: Using Cloud Gallery app

  1. Download and install the Cloud Gallery app from Google Play Store.
  2. Open your Cloud Gallery app → If you are backing up more than one device under your G Cloud account, then click the Menu icon (Menu) in the upper left corner → Expand the small arrow beside the device’s name → Select the device you want to view its data.

  3. You will see that you have two tabs there: Local and Cloud.
    – Under the Local tab, you will see all the photos and the videos saved locally on your device.
    – Under the Cloud tab, you will see all the photos and the videos backed up by your G Cloud app.
  1. Open G Cloud app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon in the upper left corner of the app and select the Restore option.

  4. Select a category to see what has been backed up under it.

Calendars, system settings and browser data cannot be viewed using this method.
